Life Before Real Estate:

Jackie - 4x6.png

Jackie has lived on the Big Island for over 4 years in the subdivision known as Hawaiian Paradise Park, or HPP for short. She moved here from Scotts Valley, California, which is close to the coastal town of Santa Cruz. Jackie has always believed in following her dreams. Jackie led a very busy and full life serving her community. She was a member of the Scotts Valley Rotary Club, board member of the Boys and Girls Club, volunteer for the American Red Cross and Chairperson and co-founder of the American Cancer Society Relay For Life. She humbly accepted the award of 2013 Scotts. Alley Woman of the Year.

After 25 years as a Certified Medical Assistant for a small-town family Physician and raising her 2 sons along with her husband of 34 years, Dan- it was time to start a new life adventure in Hawaii. Jackie and Dan have been visiting the Hawaiian Islands every year together since they were teenagers. She always left with tears in her eyes as she didn’t want to leave.

Jackie is a lifelong student, always reading and learning new things. After getting her Real Estate license in Hawaii, she eagerly and happily started her new career. Due to her experience with the process of moving to Hawaii from the mainland, shipping a car and bringing 2 dogs along- she can be very helpful and offer valuable advice to her clients doing the same. One of her greatest joys in life, besides her 5 grandchildren, is helping people find their dream home or property. Jackie is very honest, hardworking and brings along her good sense of humor to Iokua Real Estate.

When she’s not working, you’ll find her exercising in her pool with friends, and raising her Silkie Chickens and Monarch Butterflies. She runs a successful vacation rental and is a chocolate lover.
